Learn to automate workflows with Power Automate and create interactive apps with Power Apps that can be embedded in your Power BI reports, allowing you to deliver even more valuable insights and functionality to your users.
About the course
On twoday’s Power Platform course for the Data Analyst, you will gain a basic understanding and introduction to how the Power Platform can integrate with Power BI – and potentially stand alone as a solution.
Power BI is a leading BI and analytics tool, but often end-users want to input data and enrich the reports they are viewing, or initiate business processes and workflows for automation based on thresholds or simple distribution of files, data, and reports.
Through hands-on labs, we will collaboratively develop a commenting app with writeback functionality and a Power BI report with flows to trigger dataset updates.
The course concludes with a focus on how you can take the solution forward, best practice governance, and management of licenses with standard vs. premium connectors.

Practical information
Participants should have a basic knowledge of Power BI and want to learn how Power Platform can enrich the Power BI analyst's experience.
The focus is on focusing on introducing canvas apps from Power Apps and cloud flows from Power Automate.
